Tell me a story - December's edition
Let's have some fun with creative writing! Practice good writing skills and pay close attention to your spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and sentence structure. Tell a short story (4-7 sentences) that use the following items: sunshine, a single yellow daisy, laptop computer, baseball, and chocolate cake. Your story can be serious, funny, mysterious, or just plain silly! I look forward to seeing what you write!

Last Saturday morning my sister and I decided to take the kids to the neighborhood park. The sunshine was radiant. People filled the park,it seemed like whole neighborhood came out to soak up the sun on that beautiful morning. There was a little boy's birthday party and all the children were enjoying chocolate cake. A group of teens played baseball in the open field. There was even a student studying for exams on her laptop computer at the park bench. At the end of the day, the girls brought my sister and I a single yellow daisy.That simple gesture made me think about how much the little things in life really mean to me.

I love taking the kids to the park because I get to enjoy the sunshine. I picked a single yellow daisy and placed it in my hair. I decided to email friends on my laptop computer while watching a game of baseball being played by a little league team. I'm getting hungry and I just remembered I have a nice big slice of chocolate cake waiting a home for me!

Last Saturday, Isaiah and I went over to his cousin's house. There was a lot of sunshine.I decided to go into the house and use my sister-in-law's labtop computer to look up a couple of things. Isaiah and his dad, and a couple of the guys were watching baseball and football on the television while eating chocolate cake and ice cream.

Someone once asked me what I would love to do on a lazy day. The perfect lazy day would start with a day at the beach in the sunshine! I would get lunch on the beach and watch a good game of baseball. Then I'd go home to a single yellow daisy on my door step with a note from my significant other. Inside we would eat chocolate cake and I'd realize on the couch surfing the web on my laptop computer!

It was a beautiful summer day. There was plenty of sunshine and not a cloud in sight. The kids were outside playing and I was about to watch my soap operas. Just as I sat down my nephew came and handed me a single yellow daisy. He then began to tell me how the ball he threw went threw Mrs. Nelson's window and no one was at home. He picked the daisy for her. I told him we would bake her a chocolate cake. I then pulled out my laptop computer to find someone to replace her window.
This morning , we have a beautiful sunshine, not a cloud in the sky.We decided it would be a good idea to go to the beach.Since I wanted to catch on my school work, I took my laptop computer along.Soon, we heard a like a loud cheering on the other side of the beach.Sure enough, a group of guys was trying to have a game of baseball. Like you probably immagine, it was not easy because of the waves. But they kept it going for as long as they could.Soon , it was time to go home. To celebrate the end of that beautiful day, we stopped and ordered a chocolate cake, It comes to show that it does not take a lot to enjoy a beautiful day!

I just wake up with a beautiful sunshine day, through my window I can see in the middle of my garden a single yellow daisy; I have for braakfast a piece of chocolate cake and cold milk, when I turn on my computer I read in the news that my favorite team has been won the finals.

I love to see the sunshine on a bright and sunny day. It is such a beautiful day to play baseball or to pick yellow daisy or just to sit outdoors on my laptop computer enjoying a piece of chocolate cake.

It was a day filled with beautiful sunshine above the clouds. I decided to take a break from my laptop computer and enjoy myself by reading a romantic novel under a shady tree at the park. On my way up the side of the hill to the tree I bent down and picked up a single yellow daisy. It was beautiful. As I began to read my novel, I was frightened by a fast paced baseball hitting the tree branches above me. The little boy shouted, “Sorry Madam!” Gosh I thought, you would have sworn he was on a sugar rush with his apparent hightened energy. It was as if he had been eating a big piece of chocolate cake.

The sunshine was very bright and hot so we decided to go to the beach to cool down. On our way to the beach I stopped and picked a yellow daisy in the park.
We played a game of baseball on the laptop computer. After the game, we enjoyed a delicious chocolate cake.
