Tell me a story - June's edition

It's time to do some fun writing & to stretch those imaginations! I'd like you to write a short story that incorporates the following things: a lamp, Smith High School in Texas, and 3 pieces of paper.

Have fun!
:-)

My beautiful lamp was broken. It was from my friend who gave me the night before she left Florida. She went to attend Smith High School in Texas. I wrote a letter to express my sorry. The letter did not finish even though I consumed of 3 pieces of papers. I really miss my friend and the lamp.

The lamp I received, when I was in Middle School, lighted my spirit. so I wrote three letters to the Smith High School before they submitted my transcript in the school in Florida.

My friend Laurie had this peculiar lamp to study at night while she was attending Smith High School in Texas. She loved to cover the lamp with a yellow cloth. When she moved to Florida, she brought the lamp with her and she still uses the lamp for her studies. While she was away, my friend Laurie always used 3 pieces of paper to write me letters.

I just started attending Smith High School after my parents made me move to Texas. I started going here 2 weeks ago and I already hate it. The students here are known for being such clutz. One time as I was running to science class, 3 pieces of paper were on the floor and I just so happened to trip and land right on the lamp Mr.Henry was using for his conduction experiment and broke it. It was the most embarrassing moment in my life. I guess if your in a school with clutz's your considered one!

One day I found three pieces of paper under an old lamp and relized it was a map to buried treasure. I followed the directions and it lead me to a field behind Smith High School in Texas. When I dug a hole there was a time capsule from the class of 1972.

I was born in Tropical Island.I never though that I will move to a cold country. Nevertheless, I had to travel because of my children. They all attend Smith High School in Texas. After graduation, each of them receive a lamp as a gift. The principal's speech was written on three pieces of paper.I never forget his last words to the students:"Remember to be a light for each other.May your light bright in the world". Marie Joseph

When I went back to visit Smith High School in Texas, I spotted this beautiful portrait by a lamp. However, right by the lamp on the credenza were 3 pieces of paper I decided to write this short story on.

I had a beautiful lamp for 25 years. It was one of my graduation gifts (I am very old now). It had a Dolphin and his nose pointing to a little box that was a jewelry box. Then, my youngest kid arrived into this world, and when he was three years old he broke it. I loved that little lamp, it had a lot of memories for me. But that is life. My son is beautiful too. He is fifteen now, very handsome, and has three girlfriends (well, I hope friends).
Have a Blessed Day!

Janice, Terry and I met at Smith High School in Texas. We became best friends instantly. One day we all went to the state fair. We played a game and won. The prize was a beautiful lamp. Each of us wanted the lamp.We were going to college in a few weeks and a decision had to be made. I went home, got 3 pieces of paper and wrote a name on each one. I put them in a hat and my little brother pulled one out. He opened the paper and my name was on it. That was 20 years ago and I'm sitting in my living room looking at that beautiful lamp.
