I think that social networking has its positives and negatives. The positive aspect of social networking is that a connection is made to so many people at the touch of a key stroke. The negative aspect of social networking is that everyone sees what is written or posted.

I really apprieciate social networking for what it's worth. It helps me keep in touch with family and friends, near and far. We share our lives with each other from a distance, through social networking. It's great. I enjoyed the video, it was fun.

I enjoyed the video on "social networking"; it was very informative. When seeking employment, social networking can be very helpful. On the other hand, social networking on the internet keeps one in touch with long lost friends and relatives.

I think the video may have been to display the various uses for social networking, but somehow got caught up in only two forms; financial and personal relationships(dating). While dating having more emphasis placed on it can be great. These sites can be used for many more things such as, keeping in contact with old schoolmates and family members, finding great deals locally, group support, and finding lost relatives. Among the few reasons why we get and stay connected.

And one more thing I would like to add about dealing with social networks. Even if you delete it, it is not deleted; because it's on the internet. So be careful of what you post today, because you might not want to see it tomorrow.

I like social networking to a degree. It allows people to see everything you write, therefore, I'd rather pick up the phone and chat. I usually check in to say hi or catch up with people I haven't seen in a while. A few people post jobs or seek out whatever it is they need. I'm sceptical about being too personal over the internet and I don't socialize with people I don't all already know. It has its ups and downs.

I believe that Social Networking is very helpful in making contact with friends and relatives. Through these individuals other contacts can be made, who may be helpful in making links, whether there is the need to find a good school, good housing, a good job, or any other topic of interest.

Social networking is big business these days.Even I started started one a while back because my children insisted. But I abandoned it.I am too private for that kind of lifestyle. Some people on the other hand cannot live without it.It is a matter of choice. To learn that now potential employers can go there to check you out is behond me. Social networking has its advantages, I guess, but I am warmed up to it yet.
