Tell me a story - May's edition

Let's work on some creative (and fun) writing! For this edition of "tell me a story," I'd like you to compose a short story (4-8 sentences long) and to incorporate the following items: flowers, rain, rabbits, 2 red pens, a laptop computer, and a local park. Remember to write your sentences correctly and be creative! Your stories can be funny, serious, romantic, or just plain odd! It's up to you!

I wanted to go to a local park but I couldn't find one that was walking distance. So I decided to go spend time in my garden for a while. I watched my rabbits fight each other as I threw them some more carrots. But they stepped on my beautiful flowers which made me mad. As soon as I went to yell at them, it began to rain so I just huffed and puffed my way inside the house. I plopped myself on the bed and 2 red pens caught my attention so I decided to write a poem about how I was feeling. After I wrote the poem, I read it aloud to myself and decided to turn on a bright yellow laptop computer. I went to a poetry website and got it published and then turned the computer off and went to sleep.

Longtime ago, I had a small, white rabbit. I considered as my pet.I went in the park with, it ran and jumped in the flower. I could not catch it. A dog in the park ate my rabbit hear, that was so sad.

Tough times force me to make a list to cut back on certain things. I used a red pen because red stands out, so I wrote down some ideas, but that pen give me trouble, so I used a next red pen. I decided to go to Home Depot to purchase some vegetables and flowers to plant in my back yard. For two weeks it rained and my garden bloomed with delight, I was able to have food to cook and flowers on my table. One day I saw a rabbit eating my carrots, I chased him, he ran under the fence where he dug a hole to enter in. I was so upset I went to the local park to run while I cold my head. Finally I got home and in sunk into my laptop to complete my assignments that was due for the afternoon.

I met my elementary school teacher ,Mrs. Jones in the park. She wore a flowers hat, put 2 red pens in her dress's pocket, and carried a big bag. She took out her laptop computer and turned it on. She showed me a picture that she took it very long time ago. It was me holding three rabbits on both hands in a rainy day. Oh! How silly I was.

One beautiful, sunny day while at the local park--I decided to write a poem using my special (2) red pens. However, instead of writing, I thought it would be a lot quicker to use my laptop computer. When I began to walk back to my car to grab the laptop--it started to rain. Rabbits were scrambling to get to shelter from the rain. The flowers looked even more beautiful wet.

I grew up on a farmland in Jamaica with my grandparents. On the land we have many animals and rabbits was one of the sets of anninal we had. As kids we thaught it was fun to feed the rabbits with flowers , which made our grandparents really mad. But now I am older, I like sitting on a bench in the local park while i do some work on my laptop computer. The disadvantage to that is the rain might fall. So, sometimes I would just stay home and write a story using the two red pens I bought.

I had the worst weekend ever! I promised the kids a trip to the local park. When we got there it started to rain so we left. When we got home we saw our two rabbits out of their cage eating my beautiful flowers! While the kids chased the rabbits I ran in the house to check the washer. My husband left two red pens in his shirt pocket so the clothes were pink. I was done. I grabbed my laptop and went to a place of peace and quiet. The library.
