Three things I found interesting about an interview thank you letter is: Three paragraphs are acceptable, a thank you card can be used and it's not necessary to use a business letter format when writing a letter of this type.
In my opinion there are mistakes in grammar in the sample business letter or was it a typo?

I think the same as Angel!

The most important reason I've found to write a thank you letter is, that a thank you letter shows that you have good business etiquette, your interest in the company and the position, and reiterates your positive qualifications to the interviewer. A thank you letter will bring the thought of you and your skills back to the attention of the interviewer. This information will be helpful to me in the future.

The job interview thank you letter has to be sent as soon as possible(within 24 hours is recommended)after a job interview, and should be written in the business letter format, and be sent in,through the postal mail. I realize that in this kind of letter you can use "I" in the begining, middle and last paragraph. And If you email use the same format, but without the heading.

Sending a thank you note after the job interview is an excellent idea, and it gives a good impression about you. It shows you are a professional, and you are really interested in the position you applied for.
I always send a thank you note after every job interview, and usually I receive a letter right away from the person who interviewd me.

Some things I learned about the thank you following an interview was:

*Make sure to highlight your interest in the company

*Include any skills and qualifications that you have that were not properly detailed in the interview

*Send one to each interviewer

*Make sure to use correct spelling of names and title

I get the idea from the thank you letter. It reminded the person who interviewed you, and you put in once more chance again to ensure yourself is a suitable employee to the new job. And the within 24 hours to send out a thank you letter is good, because most the things happened in the interview are fresh in the mind of the person who met you.

The points I found to be important are listed below:

1. If your thank you note is sent by e-mail the heading(your return address, their address and the date) is not required.

2. To keep your thank you letter very brief, and check spelling and grammar usage.

3. If there were more than one interviewer write individual thank you letters.

Sending a thank you card after an interview is a great idea.

It should be send in a minimum of 24 hours by e-mail or postal mail, and keep it brief.

I feel that the thank you lettershows that you are a business efficient person, as well as reminding the interviewer of your good qualities and skills and closing out with any additional qualities you might have left out.

I found that you should write a thank you letter as soon as possible or within (24 hours is recommened) after the job interview to be most important.
Also, something else that I found interesting is that the letter should include information about my impressions of the company.

Sadly I have never written a thank you letter. I see that ist is important to remember that you are still sealing yourself to the company. You have to make sure you inform them of your qualifications and make sure they know who you are without directly making that your aim.

Writing a thank you letter after an interview is something that I strongly support.

It is a good way to confirm interest in the company and shows that good business etiquette is observed. I believe that propper spelling and grammar should never be left unchecked, especially the correct spelling of the interviewer's name.

Interviews are not over when they're over: Follow up with a thank you letter. It shows you have good manners, and it's a good opportunity to include any information the employer may have asked you to provide after the interview.

When ever writing a thank you letter and you forget the interviewers name, call up the company to get the name. Also, you should always spell check any letter you write.

I felt the most important detail is to emphasis your qualifications that were discussed during the interview. This is to jog the interviewer's memory of your specifications that met the companies qualifications.

I think it is good to write a thank you letter because it helps with showing your business
etiquette, and your interest in the company, and also the position
you are applying for.
