Vocabulary - Use It Or Lose It (Part 10)

COUNTERFEIT

Definition: To closely immitate or copy with the intent to deceive.


Sentence: The bank discovered a large sum of cash that was counterfeit.

REMUNERATION:

Definition: something that remunerates : recompense, pay

Sentence: The employees of Uniroyal were remunerated with an extra pay bonus for their work.

Definition: pleasantly calm or peaceful; unruffled; tranquil; serenely quiet or undisturbed: placid waters.

My dream is to find a place where the waters are placid and the grass is green and I can just lay there and rest.
