Relationship: Good Writing and Good Reading (Part 4)

So far, we've had 3 previous blog topics that talked about the relationship between being a good writer and a good reader (July 8th, July 26th, and August 15th). Everyone can improve their reading skills and should read for at least 30 minutes daily.

So let's use this as an opportunity to read something and then write about it! You can read anything you'd like (a book, magazine, website, etc.). Here are a few suggestions in case you're looking for something.

Fort Lauderdale area news

West Palm Beach area news

Orlando area news

After you've read something, post your response and tell us what you read! Remember to write those sentences correctly! :-)

I've spent a lot of time reading posts on this blogging website today. Not only is the information useful, it is also written extremely well. Major improvements in our writing skills can be realized if only a fourth of these writing tips are practiced daily. Thank you for bringing attention to my errors. I now feel more confident when writing- having made only a few changes thus far.

I read news from interne:

"JOB THAT PAY OVER $100K"
You don't have to go through years of graduate school to bring home a six-figure salary.

After the birth of my first child, I've spent a lot of time reading posts on my JustMommies.com forum. It's nice to talk to other mothers with children the same age as my son. Countless nights I've posted in desperation and these ladies always come to my aid. It's like having a support group at my finger tips twenty-four seven.

I read about the survivors of hurricane Ike.Nearly 2,000 were rescued by crews canvassing neighborhoods with dump trucks, helicopters and airboats.
These peopled ignored the evacuation warnings and stayed where the hurricane hit.

Today I read a disturbing article in the USA Today.China has again had to recall tainted food and this time it is baby formula. In China alone they have had eight deaths from babies been feed this formula.
The farmers had tried to thin the milk down so they would have more and make more money. It was thinned down with a toxic substance, very similar to the substance that was put in the tainted dog food that killed quite a few dogs here in the states.

I recently read in the Nation Newspaper online about the efforts of the Inter-American Development Bank to help the people of Haiti. The bank approved a US400,000 grant for Haiti after the country was devastated by storms and floods after the hurricane. The hurrican killed more than 600 people and left thousands homeless. This money will be used to provide food, medicine and temporary shelter for the desperate people of Haiti.

I've been reading about a father, teen daughter,12-year old frien drown in Pine Hills pool in Orlando, Florida.
In a instant, tragedy struck as the girls began to drown, Ruth Casseus' father ran to save them, but he succumbed too.
The reason none of the three could swim.
