Tell me a new story!

Writing shouldn't always be "work." Sometimes, it should just be fun to do! So let's have some fun!

Back in May, the topic was called "Tell me a story" and I started you off with a portion of a sentence. From there, you took it in whatever direction you wanted. The stories, although they all had the same beginning, were very different and very interesting! (If you'd like to see what was done then, check out this link to the eLearning blog post on 5/21/08: http://elearningbroward.blogspot.com/2008/05/tell-me-story.html.)

Please start with this first part and then continue the story with another 3-5 correctly written sentences.

Are you ready?

I walked out the front door and saw Shannon Miller, one of my favorite Olympians! She had moved into the house across the street and was busy unpacking her car. I went over to offer assistance. We spent the rest of the day unloading boxes and I even got to see some of her Olympic medals.

I walked out the front door and saw a mail carrier. I went and asked her to mail a letter for me. On my way back to my door, I saw a tiny lizzard scurry under the stairs.

I walked out the front door and saw Mr. Busket, the Administrator caming also out the door cool like a block of ice. As I never saw him too sad, I found out what was happened to him. I was surprised to hear that, he get fired. That was the reason, I saw at 4 o'clock by the front door walked in the direction of his car.

I walked out the front door last night and saw nothing amiss. Suddenly I was attacked by a masked assailant. He clapped a hand over my mouth hissing, “If you scream you’re dead,” and dragged me towards a waiting car. As we neared the car I began to struggle, but the feel of cold metal pressed against my back made me cease, well before the whispered threat. “Move again…” My attacker pushed me into the back seat; climb in behind me closing the door and then shoved a sack over my head. The car took off and I realized that there was more than one assailant. We drove for a considerable time before they stopped, forcing me out of the car in to a building. They pulled the bag off my head, but all I saw was darkness. Then, suddenly the lights came up, and a large crowd of people shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!”

I walked out the front door and saw a large mountain lion. I froze in my tracks. I could not believe that a mountain lion would ever be seen in this part of the World. I slowly backed away. I put my hand on my door knob and every so slowly turned the knob. Once the door was open I quickly got inside locking the door behind me. I immediately call animal control.

I walked out of the front door and saw the brightness of the blue sky, which was different from any other day. The sky appeared crystalized from the radiant glow of the sun. The clouds were pure white like big puffs of fluffy cotton floating in the sky. The scene was unreal like a masterpiece portrait. I thought to myself, "can I be dreaming"?

I walked out the front door and saw a red van parked exactly on my parking place.I was not happy about that, because it was my husband 's parking place.I had to work arround the building to find out who was the owner of the van. When I finally found the owner, it was a nice ladie and I politely asked her to move her car because my husband was on his way home. She told me that she was there only to pick up her boyfriend.

I walked out the front door and saw my little dog full of mud. I was so surprised because he is a good dog and he never likes to go outside to play. I filled a pail with warm water and bathed him in the yard carefully.

I walked out the front door and saw a black dog walking in front of my house.I was concerned for the animal who appeared to be homeless.I went further into the street to see if I saw an owner but I did not.The dog eventually went away, but I was sad. However I realized that I have too many animals as it is and I felt better.

I walked out the front door and saw my little brother who I haven’t see in many years, came to visit his best friend who happened to live right beside me. I was so happy to see him because we last contact of each other over a few years ago and haven’t seeing or hear from each other since then. However he moved in with me, finish school and going to college now I am so proud of him because he had been through so much. My brother is now going to law school; when ever he feels as if he is going to give up we sit down and talk about our past and present and if we want to go back living that life style or want our kids to grow up living the same life style as us. Well the past and present is what motivating us to move on in life and accomplish what ever we put our mind to.

I walked out the front door and saw my brother who I have not seen for 10 years. I was so suprised that I could not say a word. I just wanted to see him to bring in my memory all the years that have past. His present was peaceful and full of excitment at the same time.
