Let's take a detour from the vocabulary studies & have some fun with something else. (Vocabulary is fun, right?) I'd like you to brainstorm some words or short phrases that come to mind when you think of your online class.

Study
This word came in my mind everyday, and I am trying hard to study and learn not only from my everyday life ,but from other source.I am 51 years old,and a single mother ,working hard and be with may kids is really filled up may time, but I always find way's on how to used time management.
List of 3-6 things that come to my mind when I think of my online class:
1)Caring. These people care and want me to succeed.
2) Concentration. I'm living in a home with 12 girls so concentration is necessary for me to focus.
3) Fortunate. I know I am very fortunate to be able to get an education on the computer.
4) Worthwhile. Sacrificing things I want to do for fun so I can do GED is worthwhile in the long run.
List 3-6 things that come to my mind when I think of my online class:
1)Patience. Instuctors are always being asked questions,probley the same question asked 100 different ways.
2)Willingness. They truely are willing to help you with anything. Even when they don't have too.
3)Blessed. I am blessed to be in a program that offers the GED courses.It has been a goal of mine forever.
3)Excitement. Whenever I turn on the computer I know I'm 1 step closer to achieving my goal.
4)Sacrifice. Having to say no when asked to do something fun, like the beach!:)
5)Perseverence. Getting through the tough questions and learning something new.
6)Thankful. Not only am I thankful for the instructors, but the oppurtonity I've been given to get my GED.

Just wanted to see everyone's view on "The Cargo Ship and crew members that been held hostage" by the Somali Pirates. It has been said that these captian are trained not to fight back but instead, give the pirates whatever they want. I think that if you are going to sail in open water where it is know for pirates to hijacked ships, then Captain and their crew members should be able to defend themselves. The ships should have firearms and whatsoever they think is necessary to protect themselves.

Dedication: In order to be the best that I can be, I am prepared to dedicate my time and energy to doing well in this course .

Patience - My instructor has a lot of patience for her students.

1. How I am able through the use of modern tehnology, to do my course on line at hours that are convenient.
2. I am amazed at how much technology is changing peoples lives in business.

When I am thinking about the new class I am taking, Administative Assistant,I am both nervous and happy. Nervous because it will be my first time helping a company at that level.On the other hand I am happy because I get to do something else, something more meaningful. I cannot wait!
