Tell me a story - October's edition

There's nothing worse than writing because you're forced to do so. Not every writing task should be like that, so let's have some fun and do a "tell me a story" blog! I'll give you some key terms that I'd like you to weave into your story. You can make your entries funny, serious, informative, or persuasive. It's up to you. The only "rules" are that you should write your entries correctly and, most importantly, you have to enjoy this task! :-)

Here are the key words to use.
lizard
palm tree
clouds
cell phone

I look forward to seeing what you submit!!!

As funny as it sounds I'm terrified of lizards. I can't be close to one and not even look at one, even my 2yr old daughter knows that lizards freaks me out, everytime she sees one she tells me, "Don't look mommie, there's a lizard on the wall."
The reason behind the fright is because when I was little I slept over a friends house and I woke up with a lizard on top of my face, I believe that tramautized me and until today I'm grossed out by one, evem if it's a baby still freaks me out.

I was walking down the beach talking to my mom on my cell phone. It was a very cloudy day, that's what made it a nice time to walk. As I was walking, I notice some kind of creature on the palm tree. At first it startled me, but then I realized what it was. It was the cutest little lizard that I have ever seen. To make a long story short, I caught the lizard and named it Ralph and took it home and kept it as a pet.

One Sunday afternoon after a big lunch, I decided to sit under the palm tree in my back yard. It was a perfect day to be outdoors. A cool breeze was blowing with only a few puffs of white clouds occasionally blowing by.
After about half of an hour I drifted off to sleep. My cell phone ran and woke me. I reached down and picked it up from in the grass next to the hammock. Without looking I placed the phone next to my ear. I felt a little wiggle and thought, Humm! That's funny, why would my cell phone be wiggling. I look at the phone and to my great horror a lizard was staring back at me.I am not sure which of us was more terrified. The lizard or me. I screamed and threw my phone out of my hand. It landed in the lake.
Lesson learnt, never answer your cell phone while trying to enjoy your day!

While talking to my friend on my cell phone in this cloudy day, I noticed a lizard doing tricks in the palm tree in front of my house. For a moment, I thought she was doing acrobatics to disengaged me from my conversation.
